Academics
When it comes to academics and schoolwork, my best qualities shine through my bright and unbarred personality. I have impeccable time management skills and like to stay very organized, allowing me to stay on top of assignments and complete them in a punctual order. My dance training has taught me how to work against the clock to meet deadlines and work cooperatively with others to complete group projects and exchange ideas. I also take on the leadership role as a peer tutor for underclassmen in my school struggling in mathematics. I have been on a high honor roll every semester of my high school career and I credit this success to my greatest personal achievements. I have taken honor-level classes, AP courses, and college-level courses to intensify my learning ability and prepare me for my future. I enjoy challenging myself to discover new skills by taking stimulating courses, such as Chemistry Honors and Geometry Honors. In addition, I am taking two dual enrollment college credit courses through St. John’s University: Anatomy and Physiology as well as Global Literature. I have also challenged myself by taking four AP courses: AP Computer Science, AP United States History, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Italian. I also completed three years of rigorous art courses in which I embraced myself through several unique pieces. Throughout my success in these art classes, I had several pieces of my work nominated to enter competitions across the state. I take great pride in my determination to fulfill my academic achievements.
